Over the course of two years, a group of contributors in San Francisco submitted media to www.sfmoblog.net Could we build a collective representation of the city? We submitted videos, images, and audio recordings. We found that the website was good for personal reflection on our submitted memories, but it did not give us the collective, composite representation that we thought we might find ourselves with. In response to this, I made the video which you see at the right. It is a collage of all the videos we submitted. While this video brings us closer to where we wanted to be, we still wonder: how do we build a representation of collective experience?
